Learning about Latin American Music

The mixture of different ethnical groups in the last 500 years in Latin America created a huge variety of ways to express human feelings through music. There are so many musical styles that is hard to know them all: From Salsa, to Bolero, Tango, Cumbia, etc... This workshop intends to be an exposition of the most relevant musical styles, explaining its origins and some basic characteristics to recognize them. We will listen and play many examples, and share some good information on artists. It is open to all public, musician or not. Taught by Alejandro Godnic, from Amaru Duo
